The Imperial War Museum has been criticised for allowing a German company connected to the Nazi death camps to fund a major international conference.

The three-day "Beyond Camps and Forced Labour" seminar, due to be held in London in January, will bring together academics studying the effects of Nazi atrocities on survivors.

Media watchdog Ofcom is expected to rule within the next two months on a complaint about a documentary which uncovered Nazi-uniform-wearing war-games enthusiasts.

Weekend Nazis was broadcast on BBC1 in August 2007 and focused on the War and Peace Show in Kent.

It showed presenter John Sweeney meeting participants from the Second Battle Group (SBG) re-enactment organisation, many of whom were dressed in Nazi uniforms.

According to the latest false theory, Jewish executives at Lehman Brothers sent $400 billion (£230bn) to Israel before the bank collapsed last month.

The Students' Union of the London School of Economics has attacked the LSE's acceptance of a £2.5 million donation which will entail the naming of a new lecture theatre after the late ruler of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Harvard University refused a similar donation in 2004 due to the alleged ties of the Sheikh Zayed Centre to antisemitism and Holocaust denial.

The Centre is understood to have sponsored lectures and publications on Holocaust denial and antisemitic conspiracy theories.

A convicted Holocaust-denier faces a London hearing today to decide whether he will be extradited to Germany to face further allegations of Holocaust denial.

German-born Frederick Toben, 64, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday morning after flying in from the United States en route to Dubai. He was detained by the Metropolitan Police's extradition unit under an EU warrant issued by German authorities.
